Gala Bingo Bridlington is located on The Promenade of this seaside town, based in what was a grand old theatre, much of the ornate interior design is still evident in parts of the club.
The club has regular promotions, daily specials, and loads of prizes on offer, and there is also a gaming area, bar and diner serving good value food and beverages, cash machines, a smoking shelter, hearing loops, and disabled facilities are available too.
Although there is no parking for the venue, there are pay and display options nearby – which are free in the evenings.
The club venue was formerly known as The Regal. Opening in 1938, it seated 1,500 patrons, had a ballroom, and four dressing rooms for all the visiting entertainers. As with most theatres of the era, it became a cinema in 1969, sharing the location with a Bingo hall, before finally stopping the film reels in the 1970s.
